Retired basketball star Allen Iverson is the type of person who rarely posts on social media. However, he's sending love to someone pretty special.

Earlier today, the basketball player posted a picture of his hairstylist, Yomeshei Coleman, on his Instagram page. In his post, he celebrated Coleman's birthday and wished her a long life.

Coleman is a celebrity hairstylist with quite an impressive portfolio. Her Instagram profile is filled with pictures of her working with her celebrity clientele. However, she appears to be quite close to Iverson and rapper Pusha-T.

It's not the first time that a celebrity will be developing a bond with someone they work with, of course. Several celebrities have grown quite fond of the people who help maintain their public image.

However, it would appear that Iverson and Coleman have built quite a rapport. In his Instagram post, Iverson expressed his love for Coleman, saying:

Iverson himself recently celebrated his birthday. The former NBA MVP turned 45 last week, although he most likely couldn't celebrate elaborately because of the lockdown.

As for his romantic life, however, Iverson has had quite a ride. He has been with his partner, Tawanna Iverson, since they were in high school, and they've been together since then.

Like many couples, Allen and his wife have been through quite a lot as well

Iverson and Tawanna were together through the peak of his basketball career. However, it's unclear whether they're still together now.

Iverson does appear to hold his wife in high regard still. When he was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016, he called her his "Number one person." At the time, he added:

"I can't thank you enough for all you've done for me. Not just my career... But for loving me the way you do, and caring about what type of person I am ..."

Like many couples, Allen and his wife have been through quite a lot as well. Tawanna filed for divorce in 2010, although the couple reconciled in 2012.

In 2013, they went their separate ways for good. Tawanna reportedly walked away with $3 million in the divorce settlement. However, it still appears that they have reconciled again.

Allen reportedly said in 2016 that they had reconciled. The fact that Tawanna also accompanied him to his Hall of Fame ceremony hinted at that.

It's also worth noting that the pair will always be part of each other's lives. Apart from the history they share, they also have five kids.
