HANDSTAND SENSATION

Taking a look at her social media, Biles has not spent her quarantine time watching TV on the couch. Instead, she became an Instagram sensation demonstrating her one-of-a-kind version of the Handstand Challenge.

OLYMPIC ROAD

Biles was training to compete for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games when coronavirus pandemic hit the world. The most important sports event on the planet had to be postponed until 2021, thus canceling all of her plans.

After seven weeks off, the five-time World champion went back to training about four weeks ago. Before COVID-19, Biles had revealed that she would retire when the Olympics were finished, but since the date changed, she doubted about going back to train for the big competition. In an April interview she said:

"I feel that I didn't come this far to just give up and I want to be the one who makes the decision if I'm done with the sport or not."

In a recent video posted on her Instagram, she does a triple-twisting, double back off the balance beam, showing that she has not lost any of her amazing skills, despite the pandemic hiatus. In fact, she admits she feels a lot better than in Rio 2016.
