Michelle Obama Pays Loving Father's Day Tribute to Barack with a Throwback Photo

Former First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama took to Instagram to share a cute throwback picture of her family while honoring her husband, Barack Obama.

Former First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama took to Instagram to share a cute throwback picture of her husband Barack Obama and their daughter: Malia and Sasha in celebration of Father's day.

The throwback image showed Barack laughing into the side of Malia's face while he hugged her around the shoulders and held on to Sasha's hands.

The father and daughters seemed to be in a world of their own. Malia smiled and looked away from the camera, while Sasha looked off in the distance. Michelle captioned the post:

"Thank you for the way you love our girls—and all the young people in this country, no matter who they are or where they come from."

She continued the post by adding that Barack's generosity and warmth were felt every day and today. She concluded by saying: "Happy Father's Day, Barack! ❤️."

The post which had garnered over two million likes also has a plethora of comments in the comments section with most people wishing Barack a happy father's day.

They have also been together during the lockdown with their daughters, who are back from college.

Some expressed that they missed Barack as President of the United States while some gushed over how cute he looked with his daughters in the picture.

Fans also thanked the Obamas for showing to the world what family really meant. At the same time, some expressed that the Obamas have and would continually be a source of inspiration to many people. Someone said:

The former President has continually lent his voice to issues of racism and inequality in the country. Following the death of George Floyd, who died as a result of police brutality, Barack stated that things like what happened to Floyd should not be normal in 2020.

Barack and Michelle, who have been together for almost thirty years, are known for sharing sweet moments and sending beautiful messages to one another on social media. They have also been together during the lockdown with their daughters, who are back from college.

Aside from gushing over one another, the couple also lend their voices to issues and organizations that champion ways in which the lives of the citizens can be better.
