Gabrielle Union Surprises Husband Dwyane Wade with a Vintage Car on Father's Day

Dwyane Wade flaunted his new vehicle courtesy of his wife who he said "was listening" when he dreamed of owning it years ago.

Gabrielle Union surprised her husband, Dwyane Wade with his dream car on Father’s Day. Wade shared this happy news on his Instagram along with a clip showing off the 1974 Bronco his wife gifted him.

His kids are appreciative and showered him with love too on Father’s Day.

A DREAM COME TRUE

“Happy Fathers Day to Meeeeee!!!!” the happy husband wrote to caption his clip. He also revealed that the classic Ford vehicle was a long-time dream of his since moving to LA and apparently, it didn’t fall on deaf ears.

“Well the wife was listening. Thank you @gabunion you did that!!!!”

Union was equally ecstatic on her social media sharing photos of her husband’s new ride on her Instagram stories. “We [heart emoji] you,” she wrote to caption one which showed Wade posing alongside the cream-colored vehicle.

In another photo of Union with the Bronco, she disclosed how she managed to acquire it.

“Piece by piece over months.”

PROUD OF HIS WIFE

Wade has always been proud of his wife’s independence, crediting her for the success of their marriage as well as his own personal growth. “She doesn’t try to stop my growth or change who I am,” he told People in February.

The former NBA star proudly shared that his actress wife is “her own boss” with a career and her own bank account. However, he clarified that money is not what keeps them connected. It’s the simple things like going to the movies and spending time together.

FAMILY MAN FIRST

Wade is a father of four and shares his youngest, one-year-old Kaavia, with Union. His two older children, Zaya, 12, and Zaire, 18, are from his first marriage to Siohvaughn Funches.

He also has a six-year-old son, Xavier, from his previous relationship with Aja Metoyer and a nephew, Dahveon Morris, 18, whose custody was granted to the basketball star in 2014.

Six years into his marriage to Union and having retired from the NBA, Wade has been focusing his time and energy on being a father and husband. His kids are appreciative and showered him with love on Father’s Day.

Zaire paid tribute by sharing a clip of Wade coaching him on the basketball court and telling his father how much he means to him.

“I’ve always looked up to you for the way you support me and our family no matter what’s said. Your [sic] a true example of what a father figure is,” his caption partly read. Meanwhile, little Kaavia greeted her father by dancing for him by the pool.
