Dennis Quaid Reveals Experiencing 'Love at First Sight' with New Wife Laura Savoie

Dennis Quaid has revealed some intimate details about his relationship with his new wife, Laura Savoie, in an exclusive interview.

Dennis Quaid and Laura Savoie began dating back in May 2019 after they met at a business gathering and were engaged by October of the same year.

Earlier this month, the pair eloped to Santa Barbara, and during an exclusive interview with People, Dennis claimed that he and Laura fell in love at first sight. The pair’s love is reportedly strengthened by the presence of their shared faith as Dennis said:

“We’re both Christians, and right from the start God has always had a hand in the relationship. I think that’s where the real strength comes from.”

People recalled that Dennis and his wife originally planned to get hitched in April in a Hawaiian ceremony — which would be followed by a Nashville reception for friends and loved ones.

Before [Dennis Quaid] married Laura, he was in a relationship with the model, Santa Auzina, following the end of his 16-year marriage to Kimberly Buffington.

The couple had to put that plan on hold due to the novel coronavirus outbreak and settle for a ceremony that had just their pastor as their witness.

Even though fans have shared their excitement for the newly wedded couple, USA Today noted that they did have an issue with the 39-year age difference between the duo.

Dennis, however, laid their worries to rest when he said that he and Laura were “unbothered” by the age gap as people held various views based on their life experiences.

Page Six pointed out that before the actor married Laura, he was in a relationship with the model, Santa Auzina, following the end of his 16-year marriage to Kimberly Buffington. The father of three was also married to Meg Ryan between 1991 and 2001 and P.J. Soles from 1978 until 1983.

As for Laura, Heavy observed that she was most recently linked to the “Entourage” star, Jeremy Piven — the pair allegedly dated while the 26-year-old was at Pepperdine University.
