Elton John's Ex-wife Renate Reportedly Launches Legal Action against the Singer

Iconic award-winning singer Elton John was recently served a lawsuit from the high court, by his former wife, Renate Blauel. The pair were married for four years.

Blauel is a sound engineer, and she has avoided the spotlight for many years, especially after her marriage to John hit rock bottom. A new development was, however, reported by a news outlet. The source claimed that she is calling for an injunction against her ex-husband.

Her attorney has refused to explain what the lawsuit meant elaborately. Though from her end, she intends to resolve the matter between them in a healthy manner, free from drama.

This comes as a surprise to many since she has been separated from the singer for decades, and has maintained a low profile. Her name only popped up in the news last year after she was portrayed in a biopic.

No information is out concerning the reason for her recent move. However, such steps are taken in relation to privacy matters or restricting the publication of materials.

After her divorce with John, the "Rocketman" singer, fully embraced his sexuality as a bisexual, which he openly declared in 1976. He went on to marry his partner, David Furnish, in 2014. They both share two children, Zachary and Elijah.

John mentioned that when he welcomed his first son with David, he needed her to meet them and bless his family with her company.

The 73-year-old announced his sexuality before his engagement to his first wife, in 1984. It came as a surprise to his close friends and even family members that he was willing to marry a woman, as they mostly thought of him as a homosexual and not bisexual.

While Blauel has maintained silence regarding any interview that delves into her marriage with her ex-husband, the singer has been quite vocal about his life experiences.

In his autobiography, John shared details concerning the aftermath relationship between him and his former wife. The singer praised her for staying mute all through the years and wrote that she has also avoided him.

John mentioned that when he welcomed his first son with David, he needed her to meet them and bless his family with her company, but she declined the request.

In 2018, the Grammy award winner confessed that he hurt his former lover when they decided to end their union, but that love was never an issue in their relationship, as there it was in abundance.
