Boris Kodjoe and his wife, Nicole Ari Parker, took a walk down memory lane as they re-created their scene from "Soul Food," the first-ever TV series they acted in 20 years ago.

Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker are couple goals for sure! The duo, who first met on the set of the TV Series "Soul Food," re-enacted their first scene together as lovers from the series.

Kodjoe posted a video of the re-enacted scene juxtaposed with the original scene from the series on his Instagram and it could not be any sweeter.

STILL IN LOVE

Paying tribute to his beautiful wife, the actor gushed about how his life changed forever after meeting her for the first time on the set of "Soul Food."

"So she took my hand & showed me how it’s done. 20 years, 2 kids and a dog later, we tried it again."

Parker once revealed that she thought Kodjoe was really hot when they walked into their first rehearsal. For some reason, they got along pretty well and were comfortable around each other from the start.

She said she missed the small things like when Kodjoe came up to her and kissed her on the neck while she scrambled eggs.

THE UPS AND DOWN

The duo was initially hesitant to be in a relationship because of the cliché of actors falling in love and they did not want to be that couple.

Even though they did not want to be in a relationship, the spark between them was obvious. Even the crew members of "Soul Food" wanted them to get together so they finally did and the rest is history.

Kodjoe and Parker have been going strong since the very beginning. However, Parker once admitted that she yearned for the connection they had when her husband first pursued her.

She said she missed the small things like when Kodjoe came up to her and kissed her on the neck while she scrambled eggs or when he would text her for no reason.

The actress even wished that Kodjoe was her boyfriend again because she missed the feeling. She said she did not necessarily want to be single, but she missed the single life.

No marriage is perfect and the fact that Parker and Kodjoe have been together for these many years proves that no matter what life throws at them, they work through it.
