People: David Foster's Daughter Erin Reveals Her Biggest Issue with Stepmom Katharine McPhee Who Is One Year Younger

David Foster’s daughter, Erin, disclosed her biggest issue regarding her father’s wife, Katharine McPhee, during a recent interview.

Despite the 34-year age difference between David Foster and his wife, Katharine McPhee, the former’s three daughters have just one issue with the union.

The sisters — Erin, Sara, and Jordan — made the revelation during an interview with People that saw 37-year-old Erin stating:

“Our biggest issue with [Katharine] is how hot she is. Her body is insane. When she comes over for family Sundays, I'm like, ‘Do not get in a bikini.’”

The family has become so close that they now have a new tradition of spending time together on Sundays. The three sisters also agreed that Katharine had been nothing but a blessing to them and their father. Just last month, People reported that David and his 36-year-old wife celebrated a year of marriage.

[Katharine McPhee and David Foster] later walked down the aisle in a sweet ceremony that was held in London in June 2019.

To mark the milestone, Katharine posted a series of images from their wedding alongside a clip of the first time she tried her wedding gown. Through the caption, the elated singer-songwriter said:

“A year ago today I married the love of my life. Thank you for always loving me and inspiring me in all aspects of my life. I love you. Here’s to the future!”

For his part, her 70-year-old husband dropped; a throwback image that came with the caption that read “happy anniversary to the love of my life!!”

Us Magazine recalled that David and Katharine became engaged in July 2018 after dating for a little over a year. The couple later said their vows in a sweet ceremony that was held in London in June 2019.

While this would be the second marriage for Katharine — she was previously married to Nick Cokas, this would be the fifth for her husband.

David was formerly married to Yolanda Hadid between 2011 and 2017. Before that, he walked down the aisle with Linda Thompson in 1991 — the pair got divorced in 2005. From 1982 to 1986, David was hooked to Rebecca Dyer, and from 1972 to 1981, he was the husband of B.J. Cook.

Seeing the history both stars have with love, fans have high hopes that this would be the couple’s forever after.
