Grace Miguel Is Usher's Second Wife Who He Filed for Divorce from in 2018 — Get to Know Her
The separation between R&B singer and dancer Usher and his second wife, Grace Miguel, came a few months after his highly-publicized herpes scandal.
Grace Miguel, whose real name is Michelle Grace Harry, was born in Brooklyn, New York. Before dating Usher, she was already the proud mother of two children, daughter Leaf and son Raiden.
Grace and Usher's ex-wife, Tameka Foster, didn't get along.

GRACE MIGUEL'S CAREER
Her start in the entertainment industry was unusual, to say the least. Decades ago, she was part of a catering company until she eventually decided to quit and create her own catering business.
A while later, she became the executive chef for "The Cosby Show." When everything ended in 1992, Grace realized that it was time for her to move on and do something different.
Since she was immersed in the creative scene and knew plenty of artists, she got involved in the music industry.
After working at MCA Records and Jive Records, she became the executive vice president of marketing and creative services at Island Def Jam Records.
GRACE WORKED AS USHER'S MANAGER
Eventually, in 2012, Grace began working as Usher's manager, something that the "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love" singer has publicly acknowledged and appreciated. He once said:
"I have an incredible partner and manager. She has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life and my career."
Grace Miguel and Usher have been romantically involved since, at least, September 2009, when they went to the Dominican Republic together.
In January 2015, the couple made headlines after it was reported that Usher proposed to Grace, who is eight years older than him. Given the fact that most of the details of their romance were always kept away from the spotlight, it was only natural to expect a private wedding.
GRACE MIGUEL AND USHER'S WEDDING AND DIVORCE
That's exactly what happened in September 2015, when Grace officially became Usher's second wife. In an interview that the singer had with Ellen DeGeneres, he revealed that the ceremony took place in Cuba.
It was also reported that Grace and Usher's ex-wife, Tameka Foster, didn't get along. In fact, Tameka went as far as to spit on Grace because she showed up in her home.
Tameka herself admitted in court to do it, adding that she "probably pushed [Usher] off" because she was "very upset" and he was trying to move her. She also revealed that she called Grace Usher's "mistress."
Unfortunately, in March 2018, the pair announced with a joint statement that they "mutually" decided to part ways. They pointed out, though, that they remained "deeply connected" and were "loving friends."
Their split was made public a few months after Usher was accused of spreading herpes to three people, although it was never confirmed that this was the reason for their divorce.
Back in April 2018, two women and a man accused Usher of having sexual relationships with them without mentioning that he had herpes, which resulted in them contracting the virus.
USHER'S NEW GIRLFRIEND
Nowadays, the singer is dating record executive Jennifer Goicoechea. They were spotted together for the first time in October 2019 at the Hollywood Bowl.
Jennifer Johnson, a photographer who attended the event, took a photo of Usher's new girlfriend, kissing him on his check and uploaded it to her Instagram account.
That was not the first event that the couple attended together, though. In December that year, they went to Sean "Diddy" Combs' 50th birthday. In February this year, they went to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
As per Grace Miguel, it is unclear whether or not she gave love a second chance. Since her social media accounts are either private or non-existent, it is hard to know what she has been up to lately.
