How Eddie Murphy's Granddaughter Evie Celebrated Her First Birthday with Family

Eddie Murphy's granddaughter, Evie, turned one and to celebrate, the tot posed next to her pink toy car.

A year after Eddie Murphy’s son, Miles Mitchell Murphy, and his partner, Carly Olivia Fink, welcomed their daughter, Evie, they are celebrating the tot’s first birthday.

Carly, who first took to her Instagram page to share footage that showed the one-year journey of Evie, couldn’t help but gush:

“This first year went by fast and I know the years to come will be even quicker. I promise to cherish and love you no matter what every second of every day.”

The excited mother then followed her post with three pictures, which she dropped on her Instagram Stories. While one image showed Evie leaning over a pink toy car, the other pictures featured her looking up at a balloon float and sitting down with a headband on her hair.

Eddie has been making headlines since he welcomed his tenth child, Max Charles Murphy, with his fiancée, Paige Butcher.

The celebratory post and festivities come just six months after doyouremember.com revealed that a picture of Eddie and Evie surfaced online.

The sweet picture featured the “Coming to America” actor holding his granddaughter in his arms while rocking a blue and red outfit.

Eddie has been making headlines since he welcomed his tenth child, Max Charles Murphy, with his fiancée, Paige Butcher.

The reason for that would be the fact that the age gap between his son and granddaughter isn’t a lot. Madame Noire reported that during a conversation with Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest, Eddie joked that:

“I have my first grandchild. So I think she’s five months — a five-month-old grandchild and a 10-month-old son. Guess that makes me a heck of a fella. My son is my granddaughter’s uncle.”

The actor previously made a move that earned him accolades when he got all ten of his children to pose for a 2018 Christmas picture.

According to Today, the picture which was shared by Eddie’s daughter, Bria Murphy, showed the star holding his then-2-year-old daughter, Izzy Oona Murphy, in his arms.

People noted that while Eddie shares Izzy with his fiancée, he shares his oldest son, Eric, with Paulette McNeely. The “Dolemite Is My Name” star is also the father to Christian, whom he welcomed with Tamara Hood.

His daughter, Angel Iris, was born during a relationship with Mel B while his five other children — Miles, Bria, Bella Zara, Zola Ivy, and Shayne Audra - came from his ex-wife, Nicole Mitchell Murphy.
