Former "Basketball Wives LA" star Gloria Govan and Derek Fisher are celebrating 5 years of love! Govan commemorated the special day by sharing a sweet picture of Fisher and herself cozying up to each other.

Love is in the air! Gloria Govan and her fiancé, Derek Fisher, just celebrated five years of togetherness with heartwarming messages dedicated to each other on Instagram.

Govan showed appreciation for her man with a lengthy message alongside a photo of herself leaning on to her fiancé as he held her from behind.

SO IN LOVE

"You are my equilibrium," Govan wrote as she went on to say how Fisher brings stability to her craziness and adds happiness to her smiles.

"Cheers, baby, to 5 years of complete and utter shenanigans, laughter, love and friendship. Let them focus on our past while we build our future!"

Meanwhile, Fisher also took the opportunity to express his love for his beautiful fiancée with an Instagram post and a loving message.

Sadly, the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to postpone their wedding plans.

Fisher praised Govan for keeping him centered through all the ups and downs they have faced together and also shared how she brought love, laughter, and purpose back into his life.

"I see more clearly next to you. We are blending into one while giving each other room to be our authentic selves. I got you. You got me."

WHY THEY POSTPONED THEIR WEDDING

The couple has been waiting for a long time to walk down the aisle, but sadly, the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to postpone their wedding plans.

Govan and Fisher got engaged in 2018 after three years of romance and they were excitedly waiting to tie the knot this April in the presence of their family and friends.

Even though they were disheartened because they couldn't get married as planned, they are in peace with the fact that it is for the best and everybody would be safer that way.

Govan was previously married to NBA star Matt Barnes and they share two sons, Carter Kelly and Isaiah Michael. Fisher had also been married to his ex-wife Candace prior to meeting Govan and they share two kids together.
