Cookie Johnson celebrated Independent Day in style as she reminisced on older times and addressed a thoughtful message to her fans.

NBA legend Magic Johnson's wife, Cookie Johnson, was all about the national holiday in a recent Instagram post. The public figure shared a throwback image of her and her spouse as she commemorated the 4th of July.

Cooke's two-photo post showed her and her spouse standing on the deck on a yacht during a seeming vacation. The duo was locked in a warm embrace as they smiled for the camera. While Cookie donned a sleeveless silk dress, her spouse rocked a red t-shirt and a pair of white trousers.

Magic announced his HIV status back in 1991 at Inglewood, California. The startling news came when his wife, Cookie, was pregnant with their son, EJ Johnson.

He joined the Los Angeles Lakers in 1979 and was a champion for over 20 years and made his mark as a basketball superstar. Magic had some rocky times after he was diagnosed with HIV.
