"Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition" star Tahiry Jose claims she has come a long way in her weight loss journey. Here is how much the reality star says she dropped those pounds.

Tahiry Jose is doing whatever it takes to get back in shape and it seems to be working out well for her. The reality star recently shared a picture of a before and after weight scale and the numbers look impressive.

In the post, the "Marriage Boot Camp" star claimed to have used certain products that helped her lose five pounds in the course of five days.

GETTING FITTER

The before and after weight scale pictures have been juxtaposed in which the first one indicates she weighed 169 pounds and the second one shows her weight as 164 pounds.

Jose and her beau Vado are one of the five couples that star in the current season of "Marriage Boot Camp." She and Vado have known each other for many years, but they only started dating recently.

Vado and Jose starred in Season 4 of "Love & Hip Hop" in 2014, but there was no spark between them.

Since the couple was having some issues in their relationship although they are barely over their honeymoon phase, they decided to join the show.

In a promo of "Marriage Boot Camp," Jose revealed that she and Vado met when they were growing up in Harlem, New York, saying:

"[We were] always close, we started getting close as friends, it became friends with benefits."

TAHIRY'S DATING LIFE

As their relationship progressed from being friends with benefits to romantic partners, the couple started to have more difficulties. It is unclear if the couple is still together.

Jose initially appeared in the hit "VH1" reality show "Love & Hip Hop: New York" in 2013. Back then, she was dating Joe Budden, a rapper-turned-broadcaster.

Budden even dropped down on one knee to pop the big question to Jose in the 4th season of the show. He proposed to her in the middle of New York's Times Square.

The gesture was certainly romantic, but Jose was on a different page and she turned down his proposal. Vado and Jose starred in Season 4 of "Love & Hip Hop" in 2014, but there was no spark between them.
