Danielle Brooks' daughter is 8-months-old and she looks just like her mom in the latest post shared by the "Orange Is The New Black" star.
The proud mother shared the adorable photo showing herself and her daughter, joking that she was 16 in corona years.
Earlier this year, Brooks revealed the name of her daughter Freeya Carel, two months after she was born, calling her "our heartbeat."
The actress had also announced that she was getting engaged to her boyfriend Dennis Gelin, sharing a rare photo of the couple and writing,
"I never thought one of the best days of my year would happen the last week of the year. I get to marry my best friend. We're engaged!! So excited to become your wife."
Their daughter was born a month before they were engaged with Brooks sharing a sweet black-and-white picture to her social media.
She had initially announced that she was pregnant after showing herself holding a positive pregnancy test on her Instagram story.
She added that she was excited to see her child grow up and form their own opinions.
During an interview with PEOPLE, Brooks opened up about how she felt about becoming a parent, and how she and her fiancé would raise their daughter.
"I'm excited to teach her how to be a woman in this world without worrying about judgement and give her the freedom to be the person that she wants to be."
While she was pregnant, Brooks partnered with Universal Standard to create a collection of maternity wear called "Fit Liberty Mom."
She also revealed that the hardest part of her pregnancy had been during her first trimester, as she experienced a lot of morning sickness.
