Quavo and Saweetie revealed several things about their relationship, including how they first met, which started with direct messages.

Power couple Quavo and Saweetie recently had a tell-all segment with GQ, where they share much about their relationship.

Among the things the hip-hop pair revealed is the 21st century way they met and how their romance began.

THE START OF THEIR LOVE STORY

The Migos singer shared that he first saw his partner on Instagram and was starstruck with her beauty and photos. He then slid into her direct messages and said:

“You an icy girl, you need a glacier boy.”

Saweetie was intrigued by the message, which is why she replied to his snowflake emoji with a stir-fry emoji. They connected through the social media platform in the days to follow.

THE FIRST DATE

Their exchanges went on for months before finally having the first date in a Los Angeles house party. After playing to be chased, Quavo invited Saweetie to a steakhouse in his hometown, Atlanta.

After an awkward dinner, the couple went to the Magic City strip club, where things only worsened. They ended up going to the car and having their first fight.

The Migos member planned to go to college and asked his fans what schools he should consider in the future.

“All this time, I forget I’m having a date!” he said. “She catches up and cussed me out in front of Magic City… we ain’t look back since.”

A MILESTONE FOR QUAVO

Apart from having the best partner by his side, the rapper recently achieved a milestone, graduating from high school at the age of 29.

The Migos member planned to go to college and asked his fans what schools he should consider in the future.

Migos released a single called “Need It,” featuring YoungBoy Never Broke Again, in celebration of the artist’s graduation.

Several fans praised the young singer for his decision to pursue his studies despite the fame and fortune that he already has.
