Here's What Sarah Ferguson Had to Say Following Daughter Princess Beatrice's Wedding
Both Sarah Ferguson’s daughters are now married, and the duchess couldn’t be more pleased that she ended up being “so lucky” to have the “best sons-in-law.”
Between the two sisters, Princess Eugenie became the first to walk down the aisle in 2018 when she married Jack Brooksbank. On Friday, Princess Beatrice also tied the knot with her love Eduardo Mapelli Mozzi.

LOW-KEY NUPTIALS
Princess Beatrice had to postpone her May wedding due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, and contrary to custom, her royal nuptials were not announced beforehand. Instead, Beatrice and Edoardo married during a small, low-key ceremony.
The couple quietly exchanged vows at St James’s Chapel Royal, and only around 20 close family members and friends attended. Among those present were Prince Philip and the Queen, while mom Sarah Ferguson couldn’t help but gush about the big day afterwards.
SARAH FERGUSON'S MESSAGE
Celebrating the day with a sweet, heartfelt message to social media, the Duchess of York shared her pride and gratitude alongside a quote stating that “happiness” is what happens when one lives “every minute” of your life in grace and love.
“Never has a mother been more proud than the wedding of Eugenie and Jack, and again with my Beatrice’s loving wedding to Dear Edo,” the duchess gushed. “I am so lucky with my girls, and now the best sons-in-law.”
COURTESY OF THE QUEEN
Princess Beatrice looked every bit the blushing bride as she walked down the aisle in a Norman Hartnell gown borrowed from the Queen.
The monarch’s dresser, Angela Kelly, helped refit the 1960s gown, and the finished result reminded of mom Sarah’s wedding dress when she got married in 1986.
CONGRATULATIONS FOR HER SISTER
However, the Queen also had Princess Beatrice sparkle in a diamond fringe tiara she wore herself when she married Prince Philip in 1947, and even Princess Beatrice’s sister “couldn’t Bea happier” for her.
On Monday, Princess Eugenie also took to social media to share her well-wishes and congratulations to her sister and wrote:
"I am so proud of you and I'm so excited to support you in the next chapter of your life. We are going to have so much fun together."

OTHER ROYALS CONGRATULATE THE NEWLYWEDS
Even though Prince Harry and Meghan Markle didn't attend the special day, they still made sure to send their well-wishes to the newly married couple.
Bypassing messages on social media, Prince Harry and Meghan, who now live in the United States, reportedly reached out privately to wish them well in their married life.
