Pierce Brosnan Pens a Special Tribute to Late Friend Robin Williams – What Is It About?
On the day that would’ve been actor Robin Williams 69th birthday, fellow actor Pierce Brosnan took to social media to pay tribute to him with a short but sweet message.
Williams would have turned 69 on July 21, 2020. However, his memory still lives on as could be seen from a post by Brosnan, 67, which he shared in his honor.
Taking to Instagram, the “007” star shared a black-and-white close-up photo of Williams’ face. He captioned the image writing:
“Miss ya Robin, on what would have been your 69th birthday.”

WILLIAMS’ SUDDEN DEATH
The late actor sadly passed away on August 11, 2014, at age 63. His death, which occurred six years ago, was ruled a suicide by officials.
She honored him by donating cash that correlated with his 2020 age, to local homeless shelters.
In 1993, the actor who once played James Bond and Williams starred alongside one another in the film, “Mrs. Doubtfire.” The “Die Another Day” actor opened up about why he was still grieving Williams’ death in a May 2019 “Esquire” magazine interview.
PIERCE STILL MISSES ROBIN
Brosnan revealed: “His humanity was so far-reaching, and joy of people, and love of life, bountiful.” He also confessed to the publication:
“Oh, Robin, still, his passing still hurts deeply. I miss him.”
DAUGHTER DONATES IN HIS HONOR
The Oscar winner’s daughter, Zelda Williams, 31, celebrated her late father’s birthday by donating to local homeless shelters. She donated $69.69 to various local homeless shelters in honor of his 69th birthday.
WILLIAMS’ EX-WIVES AND WIDOW
The late star’s third wife and widow is graphic designer Susan Schneider, they wed in 2011. Before marrying her he was married to Marsha Garces whom he divorced in 2008 and Valerie Velardi who he married in 1978, but they divorced in 1988.
GRANDSON LEARNS ABOUT ROBIN
In May 2020, Williams’ son, Zak, 37, revealed how his son McLaurin “Mickey” Clement, 1, was learning about his late grandfather. Zak explained how the toddler was getting to know the late actor through the film, “Aladdin."
Williams played the genie in the 1992 animation.
