Check Out This Gorgeous Throwback Picture of Tia Mowry When She Was a Few Weeks Pregnant

The former Disney star had many difficulties during her second pregnancy, but she is in a much better place today and happy to be the mother of two beautiful children, allowing her to remember her pregnancy fondly.

42-year-old actress Tia Mowry is very active in social media, especially during these times of staying at home with her children amid the COVID-19 health crisis. On July 23, 2020, she didn’t miss Instagram’s throwback Thursday.

For the occasion, the mother-of-two took to her feed to share an image of herself when she was “a few weeks pregnant,” as she revealed in the post’s caption, although she didn’t specify if it was her first or her second pregnancy.

She did write that her pregnancy was a secret between her and husband Cory Hardrict, finishing the caption by reflecting on “how fast time goes.”

In the image, Mowry wore very long and straight hair and she donned a black mini dress with a slit that showed part of her toned left thigh.

FIGHTING SHAME

It is comforting to see that Mowry’s self-confidence is stronger than ever after we learned about how she was fat-shamed during and after her pregnancy with her daughter Cairo who was born in 2018. At the time, critics urged her to lose weight and even mocked her.

With the intention of not only talking back to the haters but also of showing other women that it is their decision how and when to lose the extra weight they naturally gain during pregnancy, Mowry took to Instagram 17 months after giving birth to reveal that she had reached her desired weight “in [her] way and in [her] time.”

“I was called #fat during my #pregnancy and I was called #fat after my #pregnancy. Why do we do this to each other? Instead of #love one another other? I will never understand that,” Mowry added in her post’s caption.

KEEPING THE GOOD SPIRITS

Mowry once revealed that her second pregnancy came with a lot of struggle for her, but she never let her good spirits lose the battle and she went through it with her chin up and even proving to be a stylish mom-to-be.

In March 2018, seven months into the pregnancy, Mowry attended the Essence Awards in Beverly Hills, and she was all smiles at the red carpet wearing an off-the-shoulder black dress and cradling her baby bump.

Hardrict, Mowry’s devoted husband, was there to accompany the mother of his children at the engagement wearing a matching all-black ensemble.
