Julianne Hough's Estranged Husband Brooks Laich Opens up about Their Wedding

Julianne Hough's estranged husband, Brooks Laich, has spoken up about their wedding day just a few months after their split was announced.

Almost two months after the news of their split surfaced online, Brooks Laich has opened up about the day he walked down the aisle with Julianne Hough.

According to Us Magazine, the disclosure occurred on the July 27 episode of his “How Men Think” podcast that saw him engage in a conversation with Tyler Rich.

Julianne also has a secret wish to reunite with her ex as another insider exclusively [said] that, “they are not back together even though Julianne fully does want him back.”

As the men talked, Brooks expressed his sympathy for couples that had to put their wedding on hold because of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus. The former NHL player told Tyler and his audience that:

“My heart absolutely breaks for them, because reflecting on my wedding and how that was just the greatest time of my life, I just want everybody to have that experience.”

Brooks’ fans would definitely remember how Julianne and Brooks warmed their hearts with the romantic ceremony that was held in 2017. Us Magazine reported at the time that the couple kicked off the weekend-long event, alongside their friends and loved ones, with a day at the lake.

Surrounded by well-wishers, Brooks and his then-fiancée had enjoyed a splash in Lake Couer d’Alene, North Idaho, in their shorts and swimsuits. For the wedding day proper, Julianne donned a custom-made strapless Marchesa gown that came with a drop-waist and grabbed people’s attention.

Even though the pair announced their separation in May, it would seem that they are not done with each other and have also chosen to remain good friends. With that in mind, People revealed that the estranged couple had come together to celebrate Julianne‘s 32nd birthday earlier this month.

For the bash, the “Dancing With The Stars” judge alongside her friends and ex, enjoyed an afternoon by the pool. Just a few days before the get-together, a source disclosed to the news outlet that 37-year-old Brooks was “definitely still open to getting back together with Julianne. If that were an option, he would be all in.”
