Captioning the photo, she revealed that she was filming on the Kewa Pueblo reservation at the time. Shortly after sharing the post, fans and followers took to the comments with compliments for the actress.
After starting her career in London, Ejogo permanently moved to New York in 2001 and has exclusively worked in the United States ever since.
Although Ejogo found her way into Hollywood, she believed the industry was not ready to accept her because of her looks.
Born in London to a Nigerian father and a Scottish mother, Ejogo's acting roles were a bit slim. Still, in the end, she ended up embracing all of her characters wholeheartedly.
Ejogo has also appeared in movies such as "Born to be Blue."
In 2014, Ejogo was cast in the historical movie, "Selma" which was centered around the 1965 march for civil rights where Martin Luther King was a key figure.
The movie saw Ejogo act as Scott King, Martin Luther King's wife, who was the gripping portrait of a loyal and patient wife.
While speaking with Oprah Winfrey about her time on the set of "Selma," Ejogo revealed that the movie helped her realize the importance of artists being able to tell their own stories.
According to her, there was a genuine love that the actors put into their character and, ultimately, that translated to the movie's authentic delivery.
In addition to "Selma," Ejogo has also appeared in movies such as "Born to be Blue" and "Fantastic Beasts," where she starred alongside Eddie Redmayne and Katherine Waterston.
Long before her major roles, Ejogo appeared in the movie "Away We Go" after she was discovered by British director Sam Mendes.
In between managing her career in the United States, Ejogo married Wright and although the two seemed like the perfect couple, their marriage came to an end in 2014. They, however, share joint custody of their two kids, Juno and Elijah.
While speaking to Closer Weekly, Wright revealed that he and Ejogo try to be mutually supportive of each other because their kids are all that matter.
Wright also added that although both of his kids had an interest in acting, he would be supportive of whatever they choose to do at the end.
With Ejogo as their mother and Wright as their father, there is no doubt that these kids will make for great actors just like their parents.
