How Demi Lovato and Fiancé Max Ehrich Got to Know Each Other Better Amid the COVID-19 Pandemic

Singer Demi Lovato’s fiancé proposed to her on July 22, 2020, and she said yes. The pair have been self-isolating together to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus disease and the time has been magical.

Lovato, 27, and actor Max Ehrich, 29, got engaged suddenly after only dating for four months. He proposed to her on a beach in Malibu with a gorgeous diamond ring.

The pair have been spending a lot of time together at their home in Los Angeles. The couple actually moved in together in March 2020, after meeting each other weeks before.

GETTING TO KNOW ONE ANOTHER

In this week’s issue of “People” magazine, an insider close to the couple said: "The minute they met each other, it was love at first sight.” Sources close to the singer revealed how the pair was coping with the almost constant close proximity.

A friend of Lovato confessed: "They got to know each other really well." Before Ehrich proposed, the couple had spoken about getting engaged.

THE SURPRISE PROPOSAL

However, the actual engagement came as “a surprise" to the musician. The "Sorry Not Sorry" vocalist and the former “Young & the Restless” actor ended up celebrating their engagement at Nobu.

California currently has a mandate that forces people to wear face masks when out in public and that’s what the young couple was recently seen doing. During a shopping outing at Beverly Hills' Versace and Persol boutiques, the pair were spotted with masks on.

Photographs of the pair practicing responsible public displays of affection during the pandemic were shared online. Lovato and Ehrich were captured while hugging and kissing with their masks intact.

LOVATO’S LAST RELATIONSHIP

Before the duo started seeing each other, the musician broke up with model Austin Wilson last December. She was even content being single before starting a relationship with the actor.

FALLING FOR EHRICH

Their relationship became hard to deny when the “I Love Me” singer walked into the frame during Ehrich’s Instagram Live session. They made their relationship official in May 2020, when they were seen in Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber‘s music video for “Stuck with U.”
