Devale Ellis Sees His Kids after Being Away for Five Weeks — Check Out Their Reunion Video

American actor Devale Ellis took to his Instagram page to share an adorable video of himself reuniting with his three sons, Jackson, Kairo, and Kaz.

Due to quarantine filming, proud father Devale Ellis had been away from his boys and when he got back to their warm embrace, he could not resist sharing the beautiful moments with his fans on Instagram.

In the black and white video, Ellis was seated on a chair surrounded by his boys who were all very excited to be in their father's company once again.

Playing in the video background was the song, "Reunited" by Peaches & Herb with the lyrics also reeled on the screen. In the caption to the post, Ellis wrote:

"5 Whole Weeks!!! The longest I've ever been away from my boys. Definitely the hardest part of quarantine filming."

Ellis is a family man and has shown that clearly over the years with hilarious videos of himself, his wife, and kids on Instagram and their YouTube page.

After his career as an NFL wide receiver ended, Ellis set himself on a mission to build the type of Black family programming that he wished for and wanted to see from the foundation upwards.

Ellis and Khadeen have been together for almost two decades.

That mission has turned him and his wife, Khadeen Ellis into famous vloggers, so much so that many couples see them as good examples of a perfect Black couple.

It is not just couples who are crazed about the young family. Instagrammers also cannot get enough of them. In a chat with Essence, Ellis revealed why he decided to share his family with the world via the internet. He said:

"It was always kind of my plan; I've always been a planner. When I retired from the NFL, I always wanted to do TV and film."

He further said that he began to realize that there were different ways to capture the minds of people and one such way is to show one's true self. Hence, he decided to show the most important thing to him — his family and community.

With time, it grew, and when his kids started arriving, it created a different dynamic to things and became a part of Ellis's life.

Ellis and his wife have been together for almost two decades. They talked about their YouTube channel, "The Ellises" while they were in college, with Ellis always wanting to be an actor while Khadeen wanting to be a host.

The couple celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary on July 4 and the occasion was made sweeter when they were serenaded by their favorite singer, Jamie Foxx — Ellis's surprise to his wife.

Ellis shared the special moment on his Instagram page, showing an emotional video of him and describing how much he loves his beautiful wife before Foxx began to play the piano and sing.
