Keyshia Cole's Parents Look Happily-In-Love after 51 Years Together –– See before & after Pics
Keyshia Cole recently shared a side-by-side photo of her parents, showing their long-lasting loving relationship decades apart.
Keyshia Cole’s parents are the modern day’s couple goals as they showed the same amount of love and sweetness, five decades after their marriage.
The singer shared a side-by-side photo of her parents to commemorate the 51 years they have been together. “I’ll ALWAYS BE THERE FOR THE BOTH OF U [sic],” she wrote.
COLE’S BIOLOGICAL FATHER
Although Cole treats her mom’s husband as her father, he is not her biological dad. The singer never met her birth father and only knows that she is biracial, as she mentioned in an interview before.
Initially, she received backlash for calling herself biracial but she cleared things and brought her mom, Frankie Lons to her talk show to set things straight.
Lons admitted that Cole’s mom and dad have different skin colors which is why she is classified as “other” instead of Black.

MEETING HER REAL DAD
In 2016, the “Heaven Sent” star shared that she found her biological father after 34 years through a paternity test.
The proud daughter took to her Instagram stories to share an update of her mom’s milestone and showed her support as a daughter.
Cole’s father turned out to be Virgil Hunter, a boxing coach in Oakland whom she visited to spend time with after years of searching.

Hunter is no stranger to the press as he is a notable and known boxing trainer who worked with the likes of Andre Ward, Amir Khan, and Andre Berto, all world champions.
Unlike Cole’s assumptions, Hunter is a Black man, negating the singer’s statements of being biracial, thinking her father was white.

CHECKING OUT OF REHAB
A few months ago, Cole’s mother celebrated her 60-days of sobriety after voluntarily checking in a rehabilitation facility in January.
The proud daughter took to her Instagram stories to share an update of her mom’s milestone and showed her support as a daughter.
Lons previously battled substance abuse which initially broke Cole’s heart after seeing her mom relapse. However, things are beginning to look great for their family as Lons continues her days of sobriety.
