See Prince William & Kate Middleton's Greeting for Meghan Markle on Her 39th Birthday

Kate Middleton and Prince Wiliam recently took to Instagram, where she shared an adorable photo and tribute in honor of Meghan Markle, who turns 39 today.

Meghan Markle turns 39 today, and she has been met with warm wishes from her family and friends, including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

In a post shared on the official Instagram page of Kensington royal, Markle was pictured donning a black and white picture as she sat in a red chair.

The picture saw Markle sweetly smiling at a little girl who was standing right in front of her. The caption of the photo read:

"Wishing a very happy birthday to The Duchess of Sussex today! ??"

Shortly after sharing the post, fans and followers took to the comments section to leave their good wishes for Markle.

While one user wrote," Happy birthday Duchess ✨" another sweetly added, "Happy Birthday, Meghan...Love you...??????" with many others leaving similar comments.

The birthday wish from the Cambridges comes as a surprise as the Middleton and Markle are believed to have a bit of animosity between them.

While it remains uncertain what led to the alleged feud, the drama reportedly started in November 2018 when Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry decided to move out of Kensington Palace.

By March 2019, Markle and Middleton were said to have reached an agreement to remain warm and cordial towards each other.

In the months that followed, the two women were spotted hanging out together on several occasions. Still, a royal source reportedly explained that it was not genuine and was only a way to stop the public from talking.

After Markle's heartbreaking interview about being mistreated last year, Middleton was reported to have reached out to offer some support to her sister in law.

However, in January 2020, Harry and Meghan announced their decision to step down as senior royals. This decision was said to have made Middleton very sad.

Last month, excerpts from a new book, "Finding Freedom," written by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, revealed some details which were not known by the public before.

The excerpts revealed that the two women were never at war like the media portrayed, but instead, there were a lot of awkward moments between them.

It was also revealed that Markle had given Middleton a very thoughtful birthday gift when they first met. The gift, a soft leather Smythson notebook, was said to have been given to break the ice and ease the tension between them.

Although it remains unsure where the two women stand, it is safe to assume that they would always wish each other well despite everything that has happened.
