Taking to Instagram, Underwood posted a video where she shared the exciting news that Fisher would soon feature as a trainer on her app, fit52.
In the video, Underwood revealed that Fisher would have his own workout plan on the app while adding that the decision for him to join came naturally.
Underwood suffered three miscarriages before welcoming their second son, Jacob, in January 2019.
According to her, Fisher had always worked out with her since she started the app, and with his passion, it only felt right to bring him on board. In her caption, Underwood wrote:
“There’s a new #fit52 trainer in town, and you just might know him! ??️♂️”
In March, Underwood launched the fit52 app alongside her lifestyle book, “Find Your Path: Honor Your Body, Fuel Your Soul, and Get Strong with the Fit52 Life”.
The app works by sharing the exact workout routines that Underwood has used to stay fit over the years and is targeted at helping people who have busy schedules.
In addition, the book shares the singer’s meal and workout plans for staying healthy in the 52 weeks of the year. Last month, Underwood proved to fans that all of her time invested in the gym has been nothing but productive.
In an Instagram post shared by fit52, Underwood was pictured donning pink shorts that showed off her toned legs as she took her dog for a walk.
Along with enjoying her music career and fitness journey, another thing Underwood clearly enjoys is her marriage to Fisher.
The couple first met after a mutual friend set them up and were introduced backstage at one of Underwood’s concerts. Shortly after, they started a long-distance relationship with Fisher playing hockey for the Ottawa Senators at the time.
By December 2009, Underwood and Fisher were engaged, and on July 10, 2009, they got married at the Ritz-Carlton resort on Lake Oconee, Georgia.
Six years after tying the knot, Underwood and her husband welcomed their first son, Isaiah, whom Fisher reportedly once described as God’s greatest gift to them.
Following the birth of Isaiah, Underwood suffered three miscarriages before welcoming their second son, Jacob, in January 2019.
On July 10, 2020, Underwood and Fisher celebrated ten years of marriage, making them one of the longest-lasting couples in the country music industry.
Despite the difficult times they’ve experienced in their marriage, Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher continue to have each other’s backs and are clearly more in love with each passing day.
