ALLEGATIONS AGAINST THE SHOW

DeGeneres and her talk show came under fire recently, when allegations of misconduct came from employees claiming it to be a "toxic" working environment.

WarnerMedia is currently investigating the allegations, and Ellen had since issued a public apology to her staffers stating that she is "committed to ensuring this does not happen again."

KUTCHER'S WORDS OF SUPPORT

"She & her team have only treated me & my team w/ respect & kindness," Kutcher wrote in Ellen's defence. "She never pandered to a celebrity which I always saw as refreshing honesty. When things aren’t right she handles it and fixes."

One of the first high-profile figures in Hollywood to speak up in defence of DeGeneres was Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun.

Clients of Braun, including Bieber and Ariana Grande, previously appeared on her show, and he reminded people that DeGeneres "helped changes views for equality." Annoyed that people "love to take shots" at others and to "see people fall," Braun added:

"How quickly so many forget. @TheEllenShow is a kind, thoughtful, courageous human being who stands for what is right and highlights on her show the best of us."

WORDS FROM A FORMER STAFFER

Recently, DJ Tony, who worked as the show's resident DJ, shared on social media that he did "experience and feel the toxicity" that developed during his tenure from 2003 until 2006 and again from 2007 until 2013.

DJ Tony, who is also an actor with the full name Tony Okungbow, also added that he supports the allegations made by former staffers on "The Ellen DeGeneres" show.
