The talented NBA star and Ayesha first met in their teens via a youth group organized by a church. At the time, Stephen was 15, and Ayesha was 14, and though they've stated that they were fond of each other as young kids, it was not until several years later that they would hit it off as adults.
Ayesha had reportedly been pursuing a career in Hollywood while Stephen had been in attendance for an award show on the East Coast where she was living.
They reconnected, spent the day together as friends, and soon after decided to give romance a go. Stephen popped the big question in 2011 while they were in his parent's driveway, the same place they reportedly shared their first kiss.
Later that year, they made the walk down the aisle, and while they were a bit young, they were also sure. The marriage ceremony took place in the same church where they met nine years before.
They would reportedly gather for a family devotion that lasted half an hour each morning throughout his time in middle school and high school.
Shortly after the wedding, Ayesha discovered she was pregnant with their first child, Riley, and put her career on hold. They welcomed Riley in July 2012.
While Stephen started making more inroads into his career as a professional basketball athlete, Ayesha discovered her calling in the culinary arts world.
She went on to open a chain of restaurants around the US, wrote several cookbooks, and hosted game shows, including "Family Food Fight."
They welcomed child number two in July 2015. Like Riley, the baby was a girl, and she was named Ryan Carson Curry. Their son, Canon, was welcomed three years after and the couple could not have asked for more.
Stephen is a six-time NBA All-Star who has been named the NBA Most Valuable Player twice and won three NBA championships with the Warriors.
His success on the basketball pitch has been attributed to his quiet yet steadfast faith in God. Put simply, he believes in himself because he believes in God.
His faith was nurtured at the Central Church of God in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he met Ayesha. His family also played a huge role in nurturing his trust in God.
They would reportedly gather for a family devotion that lasted half an hour each morning throughout his time in middle school and high school. His godliness has kept him upright while he enjoys the benefits as well as the challenges of a superstar.
