How 'Modern Family' Star Sarah Hyland Celebrated Her Supposed Wedding Day after Its Postponement Due to COVID-19
“Modern Family” star, Sarah Hyland celebrates postponed wedding in stunning Vineyard-styled pretend-wedding by taking pictures and drinking wine with her partner.
It should have been a case of suspended joy for the screen-sensation couple, Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams, but the reverse was the case as COVID-19 failed to kill their intended nuptials’ joys.
According to PEOPLE, the couple who was supposed to tie the knots on Saturday, after getting engaged last July in Fiji, decided to enjoy the day in their own little way.

Sarah took to her Instagram page yesterday with pictures that show her and her soon-to-be husband in a vineyard holding hands and pretending to exchange vows. Other photos in the reel show them goofing around in excitement.
Even though she intends to take some time off from the scene, [Sarah Hyland] maintains that her life is at a transitional stage and that she plans to jump into some projects soon.
In the series of images, they both wore an all-white ensemble with Sarah sporting an off-shoulder dress baring her toned midriff. She topped the outfit with an off-white straw hat rimmed by a short white veil with the words, “Bride to be.” The couple also matched-up their attire with pairs of sunshades. In the accompanying caption, the excited bride-to-be wrote:
“A couple, a pandemic, & a postponed wedding: A series. We were supposed to get married today. Instead... we took pictures and drank wine. I love you to Pluto & back”
The scenic background view in the photos set the tone for beautiful images that her followers loved. One of the comments had a fan gushing about how he loved them and couldn’t wait for the wedding.
As noted by the outlet, the “Modern Family” actress also posted on her Instagram story an image of herself and her hubby-to-be donning ‘Mr and Mrs’ face masks with an accompanying text that read, “wear-a-[expletive]-mask.”
The 36-year-old “Bachelor in Paradise” star also had his fair share of the public display of excitement by sharing a photo of him grabbing Sarah’s butt as she jokingly stuck out her tongue.
In a recent interview with PEOPLE discussing the postponement of their wedding, the duo stated that there were more important things to worry about. The couple nobly stated that they prefer to help spread information to wear masks, stay safe, and take this time to reflect.
According to USA Today, the couple met in 2016 on the set of the reality TV series, “The Bachelorette,” but did not begin anything serious until October 2017. Since then, the pair has come a long way on their love journey as Wells further revealed that It was a “nice” feeling to “keep falling in love with Sarah.”
As regards Hylannd’s career after her 11-year run on the “Modern Family” came to an end in April, the actress notes that the sky is the limit for her career.
Per Cheatsheet, even though she intends to take some time off from the scene, the 29-year-old maintains that her life is at a transitional stage and that she plans to jump into some projects soon. A lot seems unknown about her future and career, but Sarah is undoubtedly confident of an exciting journey ahead.
