Former child star Tia Mowry joined the throwback trend in a recent post as she revisited old photo albums and gave fans a view of a heartwarming mother-daughter moment.

Tia Mowry had a throwback moment in her recent Instagram post as she shared a captivating shot of her and her loved ones during an outing.

The jolly snapshot showed Tia, her star twin sister, Tamera Mowry Housley, and their veteran army mom, Darlene Mowry showing off their flawless skins as they lounged at the beach.

REVISITING FUN MEMORIES

The one-photo post showed the younger versions of Tia and Tamera presenting bright smiles while their mom looked gorgeous in a swimsuit and a pair of jean shorts.

While one twin enjoyed a sweet embrace with their beloved mom, the other was content with posing for the camera. Mowry captioned:

While Tia gushed over the matriarch, she listed off her admirable qualities. The actress could not get over her mom's stylish ensemble as she jovially admitted that the vintage outfit was still "fly." Tia completed her post with an affectionate reminder for her mom.

Once in an interview with People, Tia opened up about the blissful marital life her army parents enjoyed, albeit their elopement. She told the news site:

"My parents, they were in the army. They ran away to be married at 18 years old. It was kind of like a little bit of a shotgun wedding…"

Tia made it known that her folks served in the German army before moving back to the US. In the long run, their mom had to leave the army to support her daughters' acting dreams.

Tia and Tamera were born in West Germany where their mom and dad served as a drill sergeant and first sergeant respectively. The duo grew up to understand the depth of authority and the sacrifice of servicemen and women.
