Tia Mowry of 'Sister, Sister' Reminisces Childhood Memories with Old Photo from 3rd Grade
Tia Mowry recently shared an old picture of herself while recalling some childhood memories, and the mother of two looked super adorable in the photo.
"Sister Sister" actress Tia Mowry took a trip down memory lane on social media, where she gave fans a glimpse of her childhood and some of her favorite memories.
In a recent Instagram post, Tia shared an adorable throwback picture of herself from the third grade.

The picture featured a younger Mowry rocking cute braided pigtails alongside a white top and a jacket. Leaning against a wall, Tia flashed a smile while she stared keenly at the camera.
In her caption, the 41-year-old revealed that she was in Hawaii at the time the picture was taken. She also wrote about her obsession with Michael Jackson while adding:
"Some of my favorite memories at this age was when my #mother used to do my hair for school pictures..."
Mowry's throwback photo garnered reactions from fans and followers who flooded the comment section shortly after she shared the post.
One user wrote, "Beautiful, you still look the same??," while another added, "Awesome to see how much you've grown as a person??." Several other fans also left comments about the resemblance between Tia and her kids.
The Mowry twins shot into the limelight after being cast to act on the popular 1994 sitcom, "Sister Sister."
Tia, who was born to a Bahamian mother and an Irish father, recently shared some new emotional information into her ancestral origin from both of her parents' sides.
In an episode of her Youtube show, "Tia Mowry's Quick Fix," the mother of two revealed that her father's people have British, Irish, German, French, and Scandinavian roots.
On the other hand, her mother's ancestors were linked to Nigeria and Ghana. While expressing gratitude for both sides of her family, Tia tearfully said:
"...That explains why I am such a go-getter and why I'm just so aggressive in whatever I want, and I just don't give up."
In 2018, Mowry also gave insight into her parents' marriage after revealing that they had fled to get married at 18. By 21, the army veterans had welcomed Tia and her twin sister, Tamera.
The Mowry twins shot into the limelight after being cast to act on the popular 1994 sitcom, "Sister Sister." After the show ended in 1999, the two siblings went on to both forge successful individual careers while still maintaining their sisterly bond.
Apart from keeping their careers afloat, Tia and Tamera have also been able to recreate a family that embodies and could probably rival the upbringing they received when they were young.
