Salma Hayek Shares Rare Photo with Husband François-Henri Pinault While Kissing Him through a Mask

While some celebrity relationships have fallen apart amidst the outbreak of the novel coronavirus disease due to personalities coming out while self-quarantining, this hasn’t been the case for actress Salma Hayek.

On Wednesday, Salma Hayek took to her Instagram to share two lovely images featuring her husband, François-Henri Pinault. Showing how the novel coronavirus disease hadn’t come between them, the actress was seen sharing a kiss with Pinault through a face mask.

The pair appeared to be having a rare public display of affection outside while sitting amongst other people. The second image showed them sitting closely with Hayek’s arm around her husband’s shoulder.

STILL IN LOVE

Revealing how much in love they still were; after eleven years together, the “Grown Ups” actress captioned the post: “Love in the time of corona.” She also wrote the same statement in her native Spanish.

The couple was married on Valentine’s Day in 2009 in Paris at a city hall. Then they had a second big star-studded wedding in Venice, Italy.

THEIR DAUGHTER

The pair actually had their first child before they tied the knot. In March 2007, Hayek and Pinault welcomed their daughter, Valentina Paloma, although he is also a father to three more children.

Two of his children, son François and daughter Mathilde, were from his previous marriage while he shares Augustin James with supermodel Linda Evangelista. Pinault and Hayek actually announced their engagement at the same time as the news of Hayek's pregnancy.

WHEN THEY STARTED DATING

The French businessman and the Mexican actress started dating in the spring of 2006. The pair met at a gala at the Palazzo Grassi in Venice.

BEING SEEING IN PUBLIC

Since then they’ve been spotted together at art exhibitions and many fashion shows. The couple has been photographed while hugging, holding hands, and just being affectionate with one another.

WHAT DOES PINAULT DO

Pinault is a very rich man who is the CEO and chairman of the luxury fashion group, Kering. He also serves as the president of the holding company Groupe Artémis.

His family is a prominent French one which is said to be worth around $34.8 billion, according to “Forbes.” When he isn’t making lots of money, he donates to charities and is also a philanthropist.
