Here's What 'Vampire Diaries' Alum Candice King Had to Say About Her Second Pregnancy
Candice King, the actress who captured hearts as Caroline Forbes on hit TV series "The Vampire Diaries," has just announced that she is expecting her second child.
Candice King took the familiar route of social media to announce her new bundle of joy. In an Instagram post, she elaborated on the many emotions that she is feeling right now, as she gears up for her second baby.
King's post showed her standing at what appeared to have been a ranch. As she explained in the captions, the picture was taken by her husband, "The Fray" musician Joe King, while they were on their family road trip.
The actress looked stunning in a light green gown. She didn't have any makeup on, but her natural beauty was bare for everyone to see.
There was also no jewelry in sight, with King letting her signature blonde locks flow freely in the wind. King went on to explain how she felt at the news of her second child. In her captions, she pointed out:
"It's a calm moment in a time that feels chaotic. It's one of my favorites, and I'll cherish it forever..."
King's baby bump isn't so large yet, but it's definitely forming. The cute bump was on display in her picture.
However, pregnancy news is always a thing to celebrate. Many in the comment section already trooped in with congratulatory messages.
King is currently five months along, so she has been pregnant through the quarantine.
King and her husband have lived the fairytale life since they tied the knot in 2014. The couple share a child — 4-year-old Florence.
The actress also shared a few details about her pregnancy on her podcast, "Directionally Challenged," which she hosts with fellow "Vampire Diaries" alum, Kayla Ewell. King pointed out that she's not been moving around as much as she did during her first pregnancy.

King is currently five months along, so she has been pregnant through the quarantine. The actress claimed that she has found it easier to talk to people about how her pregnancy period has been.
Since she can't see most of her friends and family due to the lockdown, talking about her pregnancy experience has been the better alternative.
It would appear that King currently helms the podcast full-time. The actress hasn't done much in terms of acting since "The Vampire Diaries" ended.
However, she has been on an episode of the sci-fi series "The Orville." She also has an upcoming movie, titled "After We Collided," which is in post-production.
