LL Cool J's wife Simone Smith could not be any prouder of her baby grandson who is showing signs of becoming an MLB star in the future. Here is how he impressed her with his mad skills.

Simone Smith could not believe her eyes when she witnessed her grandbaby picking up a baseball bat and swinging it like a true pro.

At only 29 months, King James seemingly has some impressive baseball skills and, judging by the video that his proud grandma shared on Instagram, he is pretty strong, too.

KING JAMES'S IMPRESSIVE SWING

In the video, the little one is seen gearing up to hit the ball that has been propped on a ball stand. The height of the stand was adjusted so that the baby boy could easily hit the ball with his bat.

The little champ is LL Cool J and Smith's daughter Italia's son.

After taking a good look at the ball, King James positioned his body and swung the bat all the way around. Then with one quick twist, he hit the ball with all the energy he had.

Smith was fairly surprised by how far the ball went. She was super impressed by her baby grandson's aim and strength. "My grandson King-James getting ready for MLB," she excitedly captioned the post.

HOW HIS PARENTS GOT MARRIED

The little champ is LL Cool J and Smith's daughter Italia's son. She and her husband, Lamar Cardinez, welcomed their bundle of joy in 2018. Prior to that, she enjoyed a lavish Moroccan-themed baby shower hosted by her famous parents.

Italia's wedding was an extravagant affair, too. She walked down the aisle with her man in 2017 in a star-studded wedding that took place at the Sparkling Pointe Vineyards and Winery in Long Island, New York.

The lavish ceremony was attended by the likes of Monica, Cookie Johnson, Niecy Nash, Vanessa Bell Calloway, and Bill Bellamy.

It has been 3 years since Italia and her husband got married and they have been going strong. Fans hope that they will have an enduring marriage like Smith and LL Cool J do.

SIMONE'S ENDURING UNION

LL Cool J met his wife by chance when he was just a teenager. He was stopping by at his friend's to say hi to him in 1987 and the friend asked him if he wanted to meet Smith, his cousin.

The minute he laid his eyes on her, he knew he wanted to get to know her better. The two hit it off instantly and ended up having an 8-year long relationship before tying the knot in 1995. They have been going strong ever since.
