Showbiz star Len Goodman had a message for fans on social media as he opened up about his skin cancer diagnosis and how he had it removed. The talent show judge wanted to sensitize fans on skin cancer.
In a recent Facebook post by Melanoma Fund, DWTS veteran judge, Len Goodman felt the need to sensitize fans on skin cancer, following his health diagnosis and cure.
The post presented an image of Goodman seemingly in a golf course rocking a golf attire. The dance professional has a white plaster on a part of his face as he was photographed pointing at his face. The caption read:
“Len Goodman had asked us to keep ‘spreading the word’ re.sun protection for golf. The ex-BBC Strictly Come Dancing judge was playing a few rounds...”

In the Melanoma Fund post, Goodman emphasized the need for sun protection. The post also stated the 76-year-old actor wanted his image on the post so that fans can know about skin cancer and how he was treated.
Len Goodman opened up on his go-to routine when it comes to keeping a healthy lifestyle. In the mornings, the dance champion makes dire to partake in five-minute stretches.

According to the Mayo Clinic, people can avoid and reduce the risk of skin cancer by including protective sunscreen creams into their skincare routines.
This helps to avoid direct contact with ultraviolet radiation from the sun. Wearing protective clothing and staying away from the sun as much as possible are also recommended.
The early detection of skin cancer increases the chances of successful treatment; therefore, regular checkups are a necessity.

He made it known that Bruce Forsyth had advised him to imbibe gentle stretches and so far, it has been helpful. The “Strictly Come Dancing” star makes sure to visit the gym twice a week and take cardio exercise for half an hour.
The "DWTS" Judge also talked about his diet, and he shared that it was essential to get accustomed to a healthy and balanced diet. He mentioned that he mostly sticks to eating fish and chicken while reducing the intake of bacon.
