Ireland Baldwin Reveals Bruised Face after a Woman Attacked Her – Details of the Incident

Ireland Baldwin shared intense photos after being attacked late last week by a desperate woman. She urged her followers to be wary of others doing the same in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

On Saturday, Ireland Baldwin took to Twitter to share photos of herself following an attack. The model appeared to be lying down when she took the two selfies of her makeup-free face.

In the caption, the 24-year-old shared details of the late Friday afternoon experience she had endured. Ireland was left with a bruise on her face, but luckily there was justice for her attacker. Her post is found below.

IRELAND ENDURES VIOLENT ATTACK

"I was attacked by a woman who was high out of her mind on drugs and desperate for cash," Ireland wrote in the caption. She described how the woman hit her in the face as they stood in a parking lot.

The woman then grabbed Ireland's belongings and ran into a car where her husband was waiting. The pair drove off, only to be arrested by police soon after. Ireland explained:

"Luckily, I had witnesses and got assisted [...]. The cops told me this is happening frequently because people are desperate for money right now due to Coronavirus [...]"

ENCOURAGING OTHERS TO BE SAFE

She finished by imploring her fans to be vigilant and mindful of what everyone is going through. In the comment section, her followers showed support and relief that Ireland's injuries were not worse.

In the photos, Ireland's face was clear except for a sizeable purplish area on her right cheek where she had been struck. Her stepmom, Hilaria, also expressed comfort in the comments.

CELEBRATING SIX YEARS' RECOVERY

Ireland's post comes days after she celebrated her sixth-year mark since overcoming the eating disorders anorexia and bulimia. She recorded a short video clip to talk about it.

Ireland lay down wearing a long-sleeved, black and white striped shirt. She shared the news before ending with a word of encouragement to her followers: "You can do it."

REPAIRING A FATHER-DAUGHTER BOND

Ireland and her father, Alec, have not had the best relationship over the years. However, the pair have been trying to reconcile ever since NBA legend, Kobe Bryant passed away in January.

According to the Daily Mail, Ireland opened up about how the loss inspired her to stop arguing with her father because you never know what can happen to a person. Despite living apart, the pair do their best to visit each other.

Ireland and her dad's relationship became strained during Alec's custody battle with his ex-wife, Kim Basinger. Ireland's mom is also a model, having appeared in magazines like Marie Claire, Elle, and Grazia.
