"The Real" fans are definitely going to miss seeing Tamera Mowry on the show but they are also excited to see what the brand new co-host has to offer.

The show recently announced that "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Garcelle Beauvais will be taking Mowry's place to join Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, and Adrienne Houghton in the dynamic all-women panel.

EXPANDING HER HORIZONS

In an Instagram post, the network revealed that they could not be more thrilled to welcome Beauvais as their newest host. A statement from her also read:

"My love for pop culture and news blended with my natural gift of gab, has always made me gravitate towards a talk show environment."

TAMERA'S BITTERSWEET GOODBYE

Mowry first announced her departure from the show on July 14, 2020. In an Instagram post, she had no intention of sharing the news then because it was right after the time when her beloved friend and "Glee" star Naya Rivera had been found dead after she went missing in Lake Piru. She wrote:

"I will miss you, and I will always be there for you. Thank you for teaching me, supporting me, and loving all of me."

Mowry also shared that she is proud of all the ladies for winning a Daytime Emmy and the NAACP Image Awards. She said her farewell and wished them the best.

Meanwhile, Mowry's former co-host, Love thought her sudden and unexpected departure was a pretty bittersweet moment. She was happy that her good friend was moving on to do other things.

A LONG HISTORY

Love and Mowry, along with Mai and Houghton, are the original hosts of the show since its launch in 2013. From 2013 to 2016, Tamar Braxton also co-hosted.

Last year, the co-hosts dismissed the rumors that they had been feuding over Mowry and Love's salaries that were allegedly higher than Mai and Houghton's. They also requested the fans to not believe in such news unless it comes directly from them.
