Orlando Bloom Is the Father of 9-Year-Old Flynn — Facts about His Son with Miranda Kerr

Orlando Bloom and his wife Katy Perry welcomed their first child in August 2020. However, Bloom is already father to son Flynn, who looks forward to having a new sibling.

While Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry have just given birth to their first child, son Flynn is still one of the couple's top priorities. Flynn, nine, is Bloom's son with ex-wife, Miranda Kerr.

Since living together, Perry has become an unofficial stepparent of the young boy. Last year, Bloom explained how the adjustment was for Perry. "It's not always easy," he said at the time.

FLYNN'S REACTION TO NEW SISTER

Bloom is successfully co-parenting the young boy with Kerr. The Australian model has two sons, Hart and Myles, with husband, Evan Spiegal. Still, Bloom joked that his son might need therapy "right now" due to his unique family.

In early August, the doting father shared his son's reaction to his coming sibling. Bloom said his son "couldn't be more excited to be getting a little sister."

FLYNN AND PERRY'S RELATIONSHIP

Perry revealed the child's gender in April 2020 when she did a family event that saw Bloom's face covered in pink frosting from a large cake.

For her part, Perry said that having Flynn in her life has increased her level of maturity. The "Unconditional" singer added that kids are drawn to her thanks to her music, but she has never had to wake up to any staring at her.

She and Flynn get along well, as do Perry and Bloom's ex, Kerr. The pair have reportedly been on great terms from the beginning, as everyone planned.

FLYNN'S STEPPARENTS ALL GET ALONG

Ultimately, they want what is best for their kids. Kerr and Bloom even agreed that they would wait to introduce their son to any new partners at least six months after dating.

Bloom and Perry have been together for about four years now, so they have long fulfilled the terms. And just as his mom and stepmom get along, Flynn is lucky that his dad, Bloom, and stepdad, Spiegal, are also friendly.

BLOOM SHARES JOY AT NEW GIRL

Bloom is eager to welcome his baby girl soon. In August, he virtually visited "The Tonight Show" and spoke to host Jimmy Fallon about his coming "daddy's little girl."

Fallon, who has two girls of his own, boasted about his kids while Bloom spoke as if his girls were already here. Both men agreed that there would be immediate love once the newborn entered the world.
