Viola Davis Celebrates Zendaya's 24th Birthday with a Cute Throwback Photo

Viola Davis recently took to Instagram where she celebrated Zendaya by sharing an old photo and a sweet happy birthday message.

Zendaya turned 24 on Tuesday, September 1, and the ace actress was met with warm wishes from some of her famous friends. Taking to Instagram, actress Viola Davis shared an adorable throwback photo of herself striking a pose with Zendaya.

In the photo, Davis was pictured wearing a gorgeous black and white silk dress which showed off her cleavage. She accessorized her outfit with a pearl necklace.

Zendaya, however, opted for a strapless floral dress that accentuated her slim figure. With her hair falling over her shoulder, the actress looked nothing short of beautiful.

With Davis flashing a charming smile and Zendaya sporting a slight smile, the duo struck a pose for the camera. Captioning the photo, she wrote:

The sweet birthday post garnered several reactions from fans and followers who took to the comments section to leave birthday wishes for Zendaya.

The picture has also gotten many likes from fans. So far, it has over one hundred and seventy thousand likes.

In his message, he described Zendaya as one of the most inspiring people he had ever met.

Davis's birthday wishes to Zendaya come as no surprise as she once had sweet words dedicated to her by the young actress.

In 2015, Davis made history when she won an Emmy for lead actress in a drama series for her role as Annalise Keating in the popular series, "How to Get Away with Murder. This made her the first Black woman to win an award in that category.

Following her historic win, Zendaya took to Instagram to thank Davis for being an inspiration to women of color in the movie industry.

Four years after her win, Davis and Zendaya graced the Primetime Emmy Awards stage as one of the first set of presenters at the event.

While Zendaya has been inspired by Davis over the years, she has also made a mark in Hollywood and is now a source of inspiration to some of her colleagues. In honor of her birthday on Monday, Zendaya's co-star in "Dune," Timothee Chalamet shared a sweet tribute on Twitter.

In his message, he described Zendaya as one of the most inspiring people he had ever met, and there's no doubt that many others feel the same way about the young actress.
