Julianne Hough, Brooks Laich & More — Meet Celebrity Couples Who Split Amid COVID-19
Amid the COVID-19 self-quarantine period, some celebrities took some decisions that saw them calling it quits with their significant others.
Celebrities had it differently during the novel coronavirus lockdown. Many saw it as an opportunity to bond better and learn new things.
For some, it was all about sober reflections and considerations which saw them annulling their relationships and marriages.

HOUGH AND LAICH
DWTS judge Julianne Hough and her spouse of two years, Brook Laich, earlier quarantined together when the lockdown began. Reports at the time showed that the couple were not in a good place, and by April, they were living in different cities. Their May announcement read:
"We have lovingly and carefully taken the time needed to arrive at our decision to separate. We share an abundance of love and respect for one another..."
Although the couple is yet to begin the legal process for the annulment of their marriage, a source revered that the chances of them getting back together were slim. Laich is said to be giving Hough some space as she was going through some hard times, but he is ready for the divorce.
UNDERWOOD AND RANDOLPH
"The Bachelor" stars Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph decided to discontinue their relationship following a brief time together amid the pandemic lockdown. Before their relationship went south, Underwood, a former NFL star, tested positive to COVID-19.
The pair dated on and off since their relationship started in 2014.
The former Chargers player was in the care of Randolph's family until recovery. On social media, he announced that they had gone through a lot of self-reflection, which led up to their joint decision. He added that sometimes, people are meant just to be friends.

KELLY CLARKSON FILES FOR DIVORCE
In June, news got out that star singer and songwriter Kelly Clarkson filed for divorce from Brandon Blackstock, her spouse of eleven years. Clarkson cited irreconcilable differences as she demanded joint custody of their two kids.
The duo started their relationship in 2012 after Super Bowl XLVI. They initially became acquainted at the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2006. Clarkson and Blackstock got married in 2013 in a Tennessee ceremony. Clarkson's representatives are yet to make further comments.
