TMZ: Katie Holmes Was Spotted Out at Dinner with a New Guy — Facts about Emilio Vitolo Jr

Following more than a year of her split from her former partner, Jamie Foxx, the actress has finally come out of the shell and is now stepping into dating territory. In the pictures, it seems she gets along very well with her new companion.

41-year-old actress Katie Holmes was recently spotted having a fun time during a date with a mysterious guy. While cameras got a bit closer, it was revealed that Dawson’s Creek’s Joey Potter’s apparently new sweetheart is 33-year-old chef Emilio Vitolo Jr.

Holmes and Vitolo were found last week at “Antique Garage,” a restaurant in SoHo which offers a Mediterranean menu. The two did not need to hide from the curious while they had a couple of glasses of wine.

During their meeting, Holmes was wearing jeans and a tank top, while the new guy also kept it simple with jeans and a white t-shirt. According to the pictures published by TMZ, both spent a really good time together with fun conversations and some flirtatious laughing.

Vitolo’s father is Italian-born chef Emilio Vitolo Sr., the original owner of Emilio’s Ballato in SoHo, an NYC Italian restaurant that is well-known for continuously receiving visits from famous celebrities.

After his father bought the place in the ‘90s, the 33-year-old now runs the business with his two brothers. Vitolo, who is half Italian and half Peruvian, has managed to keep the restaurant as one of the movies and music star’s favorites in New York City.

Celebrities such as Denzel Washington, Danny De Vitto, Lenny Kravitz, Cuba Gooding Jr., and even former President Barack Obama, are regular visitors to the restaurant. While Whoopie Goldberg, Joe Jonas, and Sophie Turner are actually close friends of his.

The chef has also made some appearances as an actor by being cast in minor roles in “Royal Pains” and “Inside Amy Schumer.” He is also a dog lover since he has an adorable Rottweiler named Lil Franky, which has his own Instagram account.
