Joyce Hawkins has been a perfect example of motherly love as she stuck by her son, Chris Brown's side through some of his most challenging times, including his domestic violence scandal, and helping to raise her grandchildren.

However, Hawkins recently took a much-deserved break from her "grandma" duties to host her own fashion event over the weekend. She later shared a video showing off the colorful event, much to her fans' admiration.

The video captured several beautiful moments from the poolside Rose Maron Fashion Show which featured eye-catching clothes from different designers. The show was impressively not size discriminatory and had collections for plus-size models.

Meanwhile, another fan who seemed to be thoroughly impressed with Hawkins' event reacted in three words, "Wow it's lit," along with a fire emoji.

The show was held amid the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic so guests wore face masks and observed social distancing guidelines.

In the video, Hawkins also showed off her sense of style as she could be seen looking gorgeous in a beautiful black jumpsuit paired with a flowing red cape.

Barely two days after Hawkins' post about her grandson, Aeko, Brown celebrated the special women in his life in a touching Mother's Day tribute.

Apart from her love for fashion, Hawkins has been a reliable support system for her son, Brown. Back in 2015, when it emerged that the 31-year-old singer had fathered a daughter, she showed up for her son after then-girlfriend Karrueche Tran dumped him. At the time, a source told HollywoodLife.com:

"She [Joyce Hawkins] accepts Chris' baby girl and will have a hand in raising her grandchild. It's that simple. Family is family. Blood and blood. That's that."

Hawkins has spent the better part of the last few years babysitting her granddaughter, Royalty, 6, whom her son shares with his ex-girlfriend Nia Guzman.

Brown also has a 10-month-old son, Aeko, with his ex-girlfriend Ammika Harris. Since becoming a second-time grandmom, Hawkins has been doting on the little tot and even gave her fans a glimpse of the baby boy in a sweet Instagram post on May 8.

Barely two days after Hawkins' post about her grandson, Aeko, Brown celebrated the special women in his life in a touching Mother's Day tribute. He reserved special praise for his mom, describing her as "god" to him.

Over the last decade, Hawkins has proven herself to be a phenomenal woman and with her recent exploits in the entertainment industry, one can only wonder what other tricks she has up her sleeves.
