Kris Jenner has opened up about how members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan are handling the end of their beloved show, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

Days after the family's announcement, the matriarch appeared on an episode of "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" to discuss the family's reaction to the end of the reality show after 20 seasons.

When asked what family member was having difficulty coming to terms with the news, the momager confessed that it was third daughter, Khloé Kardashian. In her words:

"We had to tell the crew yesterday, so we were all crying, but I think Khloé. [Khloé] is the one who is taking it the hardest and hasn't stopped crying since we announced."

The 64-year-old got candid about how the clan was processing, saying goodbye, admitting that it was "a hard decision" accompanied by many emotions.

The reason the family ended "KUTWK" was that Kim Kardashian-West and Kylie Jenner threatened to quit the show.

When Seacrest, co-creator and executive producer, asked the motive behind their decision to end things after 14 years, Jenner insinuated that the traumatic events so the year inspired them to stop at number 20. She added:

"I think for us to take a minute and breathe and everybody slow down a bit; … figure out what our next steps are."

Nevertheless, the mother-of-six maintains that the clan remains ever grateful for the opportunity to impact the world of entertainment. Kris' confession about Khloe aligns with an insider who noted that Khloé and Scott Disick were "upset" about the show coming to an end.

According to the source, the "Revenge Body" host was sad because she had tried to launch several spin-offs from the show, but none were successful. Disick, on the other hand, was allegedly concerned about how he would make money.

However, the source claimed that the reason the family ended "KUTWK" was that Kim Kardashian-West and Kylie Jenner threatened to quit the show. Fans may recall that the shocking news of the show's end was announced via a statement on Kim's Instagram page.

The most famous of the sisters explained that it was with heavy hearts that the Kardashian-Jenner clan decided to say goodbye, thanking fans for sticking with them through the ups and downs.

She, however, mentioned that the 20th and final season would air in early 2021. Nevertheless, fans can still enjoy their beloved reality show as E! Network's statement revealed that its 19th season would premiere on September 17.

"KUTWK" first premiered in October 2007 and has since endeared the cast to fans' hearts, as they matured in their careers and personal lives.

The show has also produced several spin-offs, including "Life of Kylie," "Flip It Like Disick," "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami," amongst others.
