Safaree and Erica Mena Celebrate Their 1st Wedding Anniversary with a Sweet Throwback Photo
Erica Mena celebrated her and her husband, Safaree Samuel's first wedding anniversary with a sweet post on her Instagram page where she shared a throwback picture from a day before they said their vows.
American television personality Erica Mena and her husband Safaree Samuels are in a celebratory mood after clocking one year in marriage. Mena took to her Instagram page to post a sweet tribute to honor the special occasion. Accompanying the post was a throwback photo from last year.
The picture showed the couple a day before they tied the knot. Samuels wore a vintage shirt and jeans which he matched with grey sneakers. Beside him was his beautiful bride, Mena.

She wore a long white gown and embraced her husband, smiling. Samuels returned the favor and also embraced his beloved wife, holding her baby bump as he did. Mena captioned the post:
"9.16.2019 ✨? Yesterday✨ Same time last year - We went and decided to just do it. One year down. A lifetime more to go."
Mena's fans took turns to wish her and Samuels a happy anniversary in the comments section of the post, with some of them surprised that a year had already passed since the couple said "I do."
Samuels and Mena's wedding was held at New Jersey's Legacy Castle. It turned out to be a lavish wedding, with the couple ensuring they had a remarkable celebration.
Since her birth, the couple has chosen to keep their daughter out of the public eye, only sharing glimpses of her face in pictures.
Mena's flowing white wedding dress matched her husband's tuxedo. She walked the aisle with her son, King Conde, who she had from a previous relationship with Raul Conde, a member of Fat Joe's Terror Squad.
Sources revealed that as Mena walked the aisle in front of family and close friends, Samuels started crying. Some of the guests at the wedding included VH1 stars, Karlie Redd, Sierra Gates, Jonathan Fernandez, and Yandy Smith.
They exchanged vows with gorgeous wedding bands which were custom-designed by New York Jeweller Eden Diamonds. The rings cost a whopping six figures.
After the wedding ceremony, a reception followed inside the castle. The couple changed into different outfits for a party that lasted until after midnight. Few months after their wedding, the couple had another reason to celebrate when they welcomed their daughter and first child together.
Since her birth, the couple has chosen to keep their daughter out of the public eye, only sharing glimpses of her face in pictures. They are yet to release her name.
In May, Samuels, who has so far proved to be a doting father, shared a rare picture of his daughter chilling with him while nestled in his arms, leaving fans impressed with his fathering skills.
