Eddie Murphy's granddaughter, Evie, recently stole hearts when a photo that captured her posing in her grandfather's arms surfaced on social media.

Eddie Murphy's granddaughter, Evie, was born on July 2, 2019, to his son, Miles Mitchell, and his partner, Carly Olivia. Carly's father recently celebrated his birthday and his proud daughter took to her Instagram page to share a series of photos to commemorate the joyful occasion.

Among the pictures she shared were some that melted the hearts of her followers on Instagram. One such image featured Carly's daughter, Evie, in her smiling grandfather's arms as they both faced the camera.

Another shot captured the little bundle of joy in a swing being pushed by her grandfather and the sight was nothing if not adorable to behold. Carly captioned the post:

"Happy Birthday to my Daddy, and Evie's grandpa we love you so much!!! You're the best."

In the comments section, followers gushed over how adorable Evie was and joined Carly in wishing her father a happy birthday.

Evie, who is barely two years old, already has her entire family, including relatives wrapped around her little fingers. Even grandpa Murphy is not immune to her charms and the veteran actor has made his love for her no secret.

Despite his many children, Murphy has only been married once.

Earlier this year, a picture that captured him holding his grandchild surfaced on the internet. In the photo, Murphy was dressed in a blue and red long-sleeved top while Evie wore a white dress laced with pink fur.

EVIE'S INTRODUCTION TO THE WORLD

When Evie was born in July, Bria Murphy, one of Murphy's children was the first to introduce her to the members of the public. She did this via her Instagram page where she posted a shot of the newborn. She captioned the post:

"Congratulations to my brother Myles and @carly.olivia on the birth of their beautiful baby girl, and my niece, Evie Isla Murphy!!! I'm so in love with this little angel already!!..."

Aside from Miles and Bria, Murphy has eight other kids. Of his ten children, the veteran actor shares five with his ex-wife, Nicole Mitchell.

He welcomed his tenth child with his beau, Paige Butcher, in 2018 and he made sure to gather all his other kids for a family photo. The picture featured his five children with Mitchell including Bria, Miles, Shayne, Zola, and Bella.

Also pictured were his oldest sons, Eric, whom he shares with Paulette McNeely, and Christian, whom he had with Tamara Hood. His daughter, Angel whose mother is Melanie "Mel B" Brown was also a part of the family fun.

Despite his many children, Murphy has only been married once to Mitchell in 1993 and they were married for more than a decade before they went their separate ways in 2006.

Now another marriage is in the works for Murphy, more than a decade after his union with Mitchell ended. Fans can't wait for the talented actor and his fiancée, Butcher to finally make things official by tying the knot.
