Here's What Sharon Osbourne Said about Her Daughter Kelly's Drastic Weight Loss Transformation
In a recent interview, “The Talk” co-host Sharon Osbourne discussed her daughter’s incredible weight loss by praising her and noting how her child could do anything she sets her mind to.
Sharon Osbourne’s daughter, Kelly Osbourne, 35, has lost 85 pounds. In August 2020, Kelly confirmed that she’d secretly undergone two years ago to help her lose a lot of weight.
She’s since showed off the results of the surgery and healthy living on Instagram. Kelly was also recently seen showing off her new frame during a lunch date with a friend at Gracias Madre in West Hollywood.

KELLY’S SURGERY
Sharon’s daughter announced that she’d had surgery while on the podcast “Hollywood Raw” with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn. She’s stopped drinking and eats healthier food.
While speaking to Entertainment Tonight (ET) last Tuesday, the talk show co-host discussed her daughter’s incredible weight loss journey. “The Talk’s” co-host gushed about how great her daughter looked now.
SHARON’S SURGERY
Kelly was actually walking in her mother’s footsteps. In 1999, Sharon underwent her own gastric bypass surgery but her journey wasn’t as positive as her daughter’s.
In 2014, she confessed to the publication that she had regretted having the surgery. She revealed, at the time, that she had the band removed in 2006, however, she was supportive of her daughter.
SHARON PRAISES DAUGHTER
Speaking to ET recently she said: "She's like, she’s unbelievable" adding: "Listen, she can do anything." In 2011, Kelly confessed to “Shape” about the bullying she’d experienced while growing up in the public eye.
The star revealed that she was called ugly and fat in the press for most of her life. She admitted that the labels left her broken-hearted and ruined her self-esteem.
KELLY’S BULLYING BY MEDIA
The media’s constant bullying led her to start hating herself. Kelly shared how angry she was about the things people said about her.
She explained that she believed the bullying is what led to her becoming addicted to Vicodin. Sharon’s daughter ended up going to rehabilitation three different times.
SOME BAD NEWS
Although Sharon was quite positive about her daughter’s journey, last week she revealed some bad news from the Osbourne family. On September 21, 2020, “The Talk” launched its season 11 premiere.
During the episode, Sharon confessed how her granddaughter Minnie had tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease. Minnie is the co-host’s son, Jack Osbourne’s 3-year-old daughter.
SHARON’S REMOTE APPEARANCE
Sharon had to appear virtually on the show from her home before her granddaughter’s diagnosis. Co-host’s Carrie Ann Inaba and Sheryl Underwood appeared in person while Eve also featured remotely.
Her granddaughter contracted COVID-19 from someone who works for her father. Luckily, Minnie was said to be doing good and her grandmother used her case as an example that even children could catch the virus.
