See Cindy McCain's Sweet Message after Daughter Meghan McCain Gave Birth to Her 3rd Grandchild
On Monday, September 28, 2020, “The View’s” co-host Meghan McCain welcomed her first child with her husband. The television personality welcomed a baby girl.
This week, “The View” took to social media to reveal the great news that co-host, Meghan McCain, 35, and her husband, Ben Domenech, 38, had become parents. The couple welcomed baby Liberty Sage on Monday night.
In March 2020, Meghan announced in a lengthy Instagram post that she was pregnant. A couple of months later, in May 2020, she explained that she wasn’t going to share images of her pregnancy or those of her child on social media.

NO PREGNANCY POSTS
In her post, she explained that people were asking her to share photos of her pregnancy, like her baby bump. She revealed that she would avoid posting such because of past experiences with trolls.
Cindy McCain also noted that she knew her late husband was looking down on the little girl.
Over the past couple of years, Meghan has been harassed by people who would leave hurtful comments about her late father. Senator John McCain sadly passed away from brain cancer in August 2018, at the age of 81.
MEGHAN THANKS FANS
A day after her daughter’s birth, the co-host took to Twitter to thank her fans for their well wishes. She confessed how she and her husband were feeling writing in the post:
“Ben and I are completely and utterly in love with our daughter and feeling indescribably blessed/blissed out.”
CINDY CELEBRATES BIRTH
On the same day, Meghan’s mother, Cindy McCain, 66, also celebrated her granddaughter’s birth with a post on Twitter. John’s widow excitedly confirmed Liberty’s birth writing:
“I’m so pleased to announce the birth of my third grandchild, Liberty Sage. A darling baby girl!”
JOHN SEES GRANDDAUGHTER
Cindy also noted that she knew her late husband was looking down on the little girl. In August 20202, both Meghan and her mother paid tribute to the late senator on what would have been his 84th birthday.
Over the years, John’s daughter has continued to mourn his death with various posts on her social media accounts. This year in August she posted a photo from 2017 of herself and her father sitting together on a bench after a hike.
CELEBRATING THEIR ANNIVERSARY
In May 2020, Cindy remembered her husband on what would've been their 40th wedding anniversary. On Instagram, she shared a throwback photo of herself with him and two of their children.
In the caption of the post, she revealed how she hoped her late husband knew how much she loved him. She lovingly shared that every day they’d had together had been a gift to her.
