As a mother with grown-up children, it wasn't easy for the "Scream Queens" actress to spend quality family time with her kids but Nash had a unique way of solving the problem.

Earlier this year, [Nash] opened up about the injustice her son had faced at the hands of policemen.

According to the "RENO 911!" star, she maintained a good relationship with her adult children by simply "dating them." This non-traditional style of parenting meant that the comedian planned individual dates with her kids such as going to the movies or having dinner at home.

Doting on her children was probably what helped the 50-year-old get through her divorce from her ex-husband, Jay Tucker last year. Sources claimed that "The Soul Man" star's marriage had been having issues for two years prior to their separation in 2019.

The issues sprouted from the fact that Nash had undergone a full-body cosmetic surgery and her career goals kept a strain on their marriage.

According to sources, the actress left for New Orleans for the hit series, "Claws" and Tucker who lived in L.A. was not pleased with the distance between them as well as the explicit scenes Nash had to perform on the show.

The mother revealed that the officers in question had pulled a taser on Dominic after pulling him over during a traffic stop and interrogating the young man about his car. Nash confessed that the event had terrified her since it occurred during the wake of the George Floyd incident.

While the "Clean House" host had been answering questions from people about how to support the Black community, she was at loss at what to tell her own son but she believed it wasn't the responsibility of the Black community to stop racism but the oppressors.
