Comedian and star of the hit TV series "Claws," Niecy Nash celebrated National Son's Day with precious pictures of special moments with her only son, Dominic Nash.

Niecy Nash is a comedian and actress best known for her notable roles in the entertainment industry. What fans of the TV star might not know is that the 50-year-old is a doting mother and her recent post on Instagram is proof of her love for her children.

The proud mother shared a series of pictures that represented priceless family moments between herself and her only son, Dominic Nash. The photos were touching throwbacks of the mother and her son at various stages of their lives.

The pair were all smiles in each shot and the uncanny resemblance between them is evident. The mother-of-three captioned the post with the hashtag "#nationalsonday" and expressed her affection for Dominic by writing:

"My first child and only boy! Love you to the sky"

As a mother with grown-up children, it wasn't easy for the "Scream Queens" actress to spend quality family time with her kids but Nash had a unique way of solving the problem.

Earlier this year, [Nash] opened up about the injustice her son had faced at the hands of policemen.

According to the "RENO 911!" star, she maintained a good relationship with her adult children by simply "dating them." This non-traditional style of parenting meant that the comedian planned individual dates with her kids such as going to the movies or having dinner at home.

Doting on her children was probably what helped the 50-year-old get through her divorce from her ex-husband, Jay Tucker last year. Sources claimed that "The Soul Man" star's marriage had been having issues for two years prior to their separation in 2019.

The issues sprouted from the fact that Nash had undergone a full-body cosmetic surgery and her career goals kept a strain on their marriage.

According to sources, the actress left for New Orleans for the hit series, "Claws" and Tucker who lived in L.A. was not pleased with the distance between them as well as the explicit scenes Nash had to perform on the show.

The "When They See Us" star's priority has always been her career and her children. Earlier this year, she opened up about the injustice her son had faced at the hands of policemen.

The mother revealed that the officers in question had pulled a taser on Dominic after pulling him over during a traffic stop and interrogating the young man about his car. Nash confessed that the event had terrified her since it occurred during the wake of the George Floyd incident.

While the "Clean House" host had been answering questions from people about how to support the Black community, she was at loss at what to tell her own son but she believed it wasn't the responsibility of the Black community to stop racism but the oppressors.

The "Guess Who" actress was born as Carol Denise Ensley in 1970 on February 23 in Palmdale, California. She has since received many accolades under her name including a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on July 11, 2018.

Nash was an active member of M.A.V.I.S. (Mothers Against Violence in Schools), which was created in 1993 by her mother after the unfortunate death of her younger brother who was gunned down at his high school.

The 50-year-old was previously married to Don Nash, the father of her three children prior to her marriage with Jay Tucker in 2011 and as of August 29, 2020, the "Claws" star was married to Jessica Betts.
