Every reality television show has its fair share of drama, goofs, and fights. The "Real Housewives of Potomac" recently experienced one of its significant conflicts and there is a lot of juice in the story.

In a chat with Bravo Digital's Megan Segura and Erik J. Mac on the "Daily Dish Podcast," Monique Samuels responded to the rumors that her husband, Chris Samuels, is not the father of her youngest child.

Samuels expressed that the fight between herself and other cast members such as Candiace Dillard Bassett and Jackson Jordan had taken her by surprise and she regretted allowing things to escalate the way they did.

Samuels also said that she wished she had walked away from the fight and not engaged with those who were trying to get under her skin.

The reality star addressed the rumor about her child being the son of her trainer, saying it was untrue and also unkind to her and her family. Speaking on the rumor, she said:

"...Children are off-limits. We will deal with this at the reunion."

The origin of the fight stemmed from the fact that Bassett knew about the rumors which were sparked by Jordan and had gone on to invite her for the anniversary party they were all attending.

To Samuels, this move came off as disloyal and painful as the rumors were untrue. She also believed that Bassett had always found a way to facilitate some nasty things against her over time.

Neither of them was ready to tie the knot.

Giving a hint at how the issue came about, Samuels explained that Bassett discussed the gossip with other members of the show, Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon.

Bryant then hinted that Samuels had been seen around town with the trainer and this came as a jibe to the latter based on what Jordan had indicated earlier on in the season.

Those who follow the show know that Bassett and Samuels fell out on-camera after Jordan showed up at the former's bash earlier in the season. The tension ultimately led to the explosive physical altercation that was aired.

Although the tensions are high at the moment, Samuels believes that all can be resolved and the issues would be adequately dealt with during their reunion.

Samuels and her husband, former NFL player Chris Samuels welcomed their last child, Chase Omari in November 2018. They are also parents to two other children, Christopher and Milani.

Samuels and her husband started their relationship as friends and neither of them was ready to tie the knot as they had known each other since she was 19.

Through all the ups and downs and the jibes thrown at their relationship and marriage, the couple has been able to overcome it all thanks to their rock-solid years of friendship and open communication with one another.
