Power couple Barack and Michelle Obama celebrated 28 years of marriage with heartwarming tributes to each other on social media. The duo shared cute never-before-seen photos of themselves.
Three years after leaving the White House, former president and first lady Barack and Michelle Obama are still moving the nation with their unique love.
Over the weekend, the famous lovebirds celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary and took to social media to share heartwarming words in tribute to their love.

BARACK'S TRIBUTE
Barack shared a heartwarming photo of him and Michelle during an outdoor ceremony, with their foreheads together and huge smiles on their faces.
Last year, Barack and Michelle celebrated their 27th anniversary as empty nesters with lovely photos on Instagram.
In the accompanying caption, the 44th president explained that he was taking time to appreciate his woman amid the world's events. Praising Michelle, he wrote:
"Every day with @MichelleObama makes me a better husband, a better father, and a better human."
Barack, staying true to his desire to help the nation, urged their well-wishers to help those around them eligible to vote.
MICHELLE'S TRIBUTE
Similarly, Michelle shared a sweet photo of her and Barack in a restaurant, alongside a heart-melting message about her love for him. She gushed:
"28 years with this one. I love @BarackObama for his smile, his character, and his compassion. So grateful to have him as a partner through everything life throws at us."
She followed in her husband's steps and told fans that their one request for their anniversary was for people to make sure those around them are part of the upcoming election.
QUARANTINE CHALLENGE
Despite their inspiring love story, Barack and Michelle, who walked down the aisle on October 3, 1992, haven't been immune to the challenges that the quarantine has placed on couples.
During a recent appearance on "The Rachel Ray Show," the author "Becoming" confessed to her husband making her angry. She revealed that sometimes she gets annoyed by his presence in the room.
Regardless of the peculiarities, Michelle noted that the former president still works at keeping their romance alive, recounting that he recently took her on a date that involved an alfresco picnic and jazz.
MICHELLE ADVISES YOUNG GENERATION
The pair, who are proud parents of two wonderful daughters— Malia and Sasha— has become a role model for marriages worldwide because of their honesty about their challenges.
During an episode of "The Michelle Obama Podcast," that featured gust Conan O'Brien, the former first lady spoke about how challenging marriage can be. She recalled that there were times when she wanted to quit the union.
However, she noted that it was important not to give up when things got hard. She then advised the younger generation, give their relationships time in order to be able to see their partners in different life spheres.
She also emphasized the need for honesty and commitment and urged people not to use social media as a way to find love.
THEIR 27TH ANNIVERSARY
Last year, Barack and Michelle celebrated their 27th anniversary as empty nesters with lovely photos on Instagram. The 59-year-old shared a sweet photo of him and his wife looking into the sunset at a safari and a quote from The Beatles.
On the other hand, Michelle uploaded a photo of them around a boat ramp and praised her man for delivering on his promise to give her a life of adventure. She concluded, hopeful about what their lives as empty nesters would be.
