"Dancing With The Stars" viewers took to social media to demand the return of the show's former host, Tom Bergeron, after host Tyra Banks made an error in the latest episode.

Although errors on live television are inevitable, unfortunately for Banks, fans are already unforgiving about her performance on the show.

During the elimination for week 4, Banks read through the list of safe couples and told "Cheer" coach Monica Aldama and her dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy that they were safe to return the next week.

It turned out that Aldama and Chmerkovskiy were actually in the bottom two, and they had to be called back to the stage in an awkward moment. Viewers were livid and took to social media to complain. One Twitter user wrote:

"#DWTS Never had an error with Tom."

Writer Brett Vergara shared a snarky comical comment on the week 4 slip up, claiming that such a thing would have never happened under Bergeron's watch.

Another Twitter user shared a photo of Tom Bergeron and wrote that he would not have blamed the "control room" for an error that he made.

Eventually, when the error was sorted, Aldama and Chmerkovskiy stood head to head with Ann Heche and her partner Keo Motsepe.

A lengthy tweet from another upset viewer marveled at how Banks could tell Aldama and Chmerkovskiy that they were safe and then bring them back to the stage.

The tweet continued, demanding that someone found Bergeron, tell him that his exit was all a joke so that he could return to being the show's host.

Those tweets joined the slew of many others who demanded that ABC brought Bergeron and his co-host Erin Andrews back to the show.

Eventually, when the error was sorted, Aldama and Chmerkovskiy stood head to head with Ann Heche and her partner Keo Motsepe. Heche and Motspe ended up being the eliminated couple, leaving Aldama and Chmerkovskiy saved for next week's show.

Many viewers did jump to Banks's defense after the unexpected snafu, claiming that she only read what was provided to her on her cards, and it was not her fault.

Banks herself admitted on Twitter that that was the craziness of live television, and no one was infallible. "Dancing With Stars" airs on Mondays at 8 pm EST on ABC.
